"Whilst I accept that some people who are in the public eye use this platform to make political statements like Bono I will never forgive Morrisey for his comments on Kevin Spacey and then trying to deny them. It works both ways, use the press to make statements but when they bite you on the arse don't deny you said it " Well that went well

"Anyone else going to his upcoming Gigs. " Not many at all- he constantly stuggles to fill the venues he plays. His ego still thinks he's an arena artist- the reality is he plays the small academy setup in most of them (about 1500-2000) and still can't sell them out. As for his poularity with event crew- his stroppy insisance on 'meat free shows' is usually met by us all having a sausage or bacon bap for breakfast and a Pasty for lunch His insistance that venue staff look away when he comes in was met with the comment 'talentless twat can fuck right off' by the head of security at one venue.

"He's one of those people who I admire incredibly for their lyrical talent, and I think he changed the face of popular music. I find it odd that so many people want to feel that they could like, in person artists they admire. Artists, by their very nature don't conform. I can't get upset that Morrissey and I would probably dislike each other immeasurably if we ever met and I feel it in no way diminishes his talent. " Couldn't have put it better myself. Love his music and the fact that he is a bit of a dick is key to how that music has come about. Not going to see him, too expensive and too many other gigs around at the moment that I;d choose over him

I think people assume that they are meant earnestly. I do enjoy it when they drag him out and put him on TV and he's his usual, difficult self. I remember him being on the one show and being incredibly antagonoistic....
