Apart from many of them insisting only one of them can be the truth, so most must be bunkum, what would you create your religion to be (apart from a money making system)?

Rules, behavioral codes etc?

All linked to values and complexity of cognitive evaluation of emotional/thought.

Well it’s a model that works for me.

So pleased that a little bds play centres me again.

Basically mr mcflurry covered this for me. The concept of religion just baffles me and if you get me d*unk I would get strongly ranty about why i dislike all forms of it.

Religion is for those who feel a need to belong! Anything can be termed a religion if you have a following. Perhaps even swinging! As long as it is a cosy group of like minded people it would work.

Recognised religion doesn't work so well these days though. We have been told we can effectively do as we want as long as it doesn't break the law, that is why in the past some have tried to say swinging and the moral issues around it doesn't conflict with their belief in a particular religion!

But as long as it works for you, go for it!

In all seriousness humans are hard wired for religion.Not me though..

Let’s be honest, religion is just a form of large scale social control... but that’s a whole different debate!

My religion if I was going to create one would be based on free love and adoring worship and obeyance of the divine leader (i.e. me!)
