Just discovered the red Thai curry paste I have using to make vegetarian version of my soups is not suitable for veggies as it contains shrimps!

Better grovel at my veggie colleagues tomorrow!

Does that mean you can't eat it, or they can't eat it?

Keeping in mind that the shrimp is already dead, it gave up it's life in the ocean to make the red curry paste.

And it's a fish. Of sorts.

I don't really 'do' vegetarian.

I can't use fish sauce as it contains dead fish, so I can't use the curry paste as it contains dead shrimps!

I can't do vegetarianism myself either.

Even i KNOW a shrimp isn't a vegetable. It's not green for a start.

Actually no, we read him his rights... and gently convince him to change his habitat while simultaneously escorting him/ her to a place some 50 metres away from the territory he/she invaded.
