Hot milk with honey in it, add a dash of brandy if you're not driving. Paracetamol for the fever and any cough medicine the pharmacist advises.

jakemans original cough sweets are good for a tickly chesty cough -- honey and lemon in hot water if your throat is sore - 4 days of a fever you cannot bring down suggests infection so id see GP -- ive just had whooping cough over xmas so dont leave it too long as it almost became pneumonia and the anti biotics for those were gross - get well soon

After four days? Go to your pharmacist and ask for their advice. They can check your temperature, listen to your cough and tell you whether you should be seeing your GP. This is what they are there for.

A dash of apple cider vinegar and a spoonful of honey in hot water. It's the go-to cure for everything in my house
