Do you know how to release pressure on a Worcester bosch boiler, I know how to increase the pressure but mine is now on nearly 3 bar and my dad is saying it's way too high, help lol. -x-

You could bleed from a radiator I think... I’m no plumber but that’s what I’d do, let some water out of a radiator with the bleed key

on the road to nowhere in particular

It should have a safety release valve to automatically release pressure

Worsley

You can bleed one of your radiator to release the pressure back down to recommended levels (the gauge on your boiler probably has green markings at about 0.5-1.5 bar)

Birmingham

0.5 to 1.5 bar when off

Rising by 1 bar when up to temp.

How did it get so high? Normally they only go higher if you have let water in to raise the pressure. Did you do that and let too much in? On a previous similar thread it said not to release pressure through the release valve. Try doing a forum search for boilers and that thread is there somewhere.

If your pressure has gone up all by itself then that suggests a system problem. On my Worcester boiler the pressure goes down when the heating is on and up when it's off. I recommend contacting a qualified gas engineer. Boilers are dangerous things not to be messed with x

This is true as I have done it few days ago and pressure dropped
