Ok, a little rant. I spend less time on here because of the trolling that goes on. People who make comments about other people that they know would be unacceptable if they didn't have anonymity.
I keep reading comments aimed mainly at male posters along the line of..."you are only doing this for attention seeking"
I do not understand this. All social media is attention seeking so why single people out here? Would you do it on Mumsnet?
If any of you have a Facebook account what is most of what you see, and dare I say it, what you post?
Look at my children, look at how happy I am, look at this lovely place I am visiting, I am sad please give me sympathy, look at how big my house is, look at how much I earn, I am going to post something funny - please like it, I am going to post something prophetic - please like it....and on and on.
On forums of every type - look how much I know about x,y or z, look at how much I have contributed, look I am here so often I have admin rights, Look at how good my pc/parenting skills/tennis ability/political views, look at how clever I am, look at how I can destroy your argument with my superior intellect....and on and on.
So we are on a sex site and nothing changes. I do not understand for the life of me anyone would castigate anyone else for their motives. By definition people on a sex site will often be looking for people to have sex with and their profile is the first "point of sale".
Maybe, just maybe, they just want to be part of a community and want to make friends with people with similar interests? Maybe they might end up fucking - but that is why we are all here is it not?
Rant over and I am genuinely happy with my sex life so far and couldn't care if you looked at my profile or not.
