Hiding in the shadows

"Street trials, freeride, BMX. What's your poison?"

I'm a BC coach.

Used to race BMX as a teen.

Then road, track, added MTB & CX, in my 30s, competed in 12/24hr endurance events.

Give me 2 wheels & I'm happy

I rode BMX till I was about 26, back problems made me get a bigger bike. I rode park, street and dirt. I replaced my BMX with a 24" 24Seven Slacker, then got a Transition Bottlerocket as I kept breaking bones riding dirt jumps.

I also raced downhill on a Demo 9 for a few years too.

Then family came along and I rarely get out on my enduro bike.

I couldn't have posted here this morning as my daily poison is a roadie, but I just spent the last coupla hours building a ladies classic.

Oh hang on, that's not particularly cool either, is it? *scuttles away*

My elder son has just come down from his room and seen it. He's now insisting on referring to me as 'granny'.

Time to get yourself a gnarly mtb. I would recommend the DMR sled.
