Rather than throwing cash at the incoming tide, should we just let London flood, and move the city to Milton Keynes or similar? Is it really worth saving? If so, why?

Did you ever see those maps that show how much of the island of Manhattan has been expended outwards because they used it as a trash dump? Water street used to mark the last street before the water! Who'd have thought?!
