Your doing something right then.

I'd say around 95% of mine are ignored regardless of whether it's a copy n paste message or well constructed and tailored to them.

I have found that in clubs that I don't even need to try as ladies tend to take a liking to me in person so that's the way I've been going

I actually struggle quite a bit trying to figure out what to write in a first message and always get a bit concerned it will seem like a copy and paste I’m never 100% sure what someone is looking for I just try anyway haha

I'm not telling I used to explain it, but I don't bother now . I figured it out on my own, so can others lol. It's not rocket science to not have a message that's instantly deleted or not even read.

Whenever I've read a profile and wanted to message them, it's been something that relates to the profile.

I think I may have been guilty of a few "Hi! How are you?"'s when I first joined. But I quickly learned that a bespoke message, if read, will be recieved positively in most cases.

But then I joined in on the forum not long after and messaging anyone new is not that common an occurrence anymore.

My sensible side says-

Be selective in who you message, put some thought into what you write. Do you meet their needs? Do they meet your needs?

If you are only after a fuck, be honest about it. If you are after fun with friends, make it clear.

No one has time for games so be clear about what you can offer.

I rarely send first messages, those that I do send are rarely deleted unread.

My competitive side says -

Part two is where I'm sliding towards right now as well.. I try to help the utterly hopeless.. but it usually backfires and they take it as me slagging them off.. rather than good advice.. or theyr e doing it for attention... or it's a forumites taking the piss and I've not caught on quick enough
