Today I fell ridiculously in lust with a guy with a soft Geordie accent. The rest of him was rather lovely too, but his voice was so hot.

Does anyone else go weak at the knees at a particular accent?

Are there any very bored Geordies out there that want to read me a bedtime story every night?

Failing that, a nice deep rumble of a voice is lovely.

I love an accent. I also know a sexy Geordie, love an Irish or Scottish accent and am rather partial to the fun Northern Monkey too.

Actually no, I really just like voices per se. Listening to someone speak to me focuses me. And the melody of their voice when I fancy them is intoxicating, exciting, reassuring and safe as well as spine tinglingly sexy.

Adore having someone speak in French to me as well.

Buckley North Wales

I go wobbly at the knees for women with crisp polished and well educated English accents. Key examples: Sarah Kennedy when she was a Radio2 presenter. Lillian from the Archers, Sandy Toxvig (Radio 4). I also love Marella Fostrups soft sultry accent and tone.

Edinburgh

I'm based in Edinburgh with a deep Ulster telephone voice - I have to speak to people all over the UK and regularly have to repeat myself to ladies "sorry I was listening to you but didn't hear a thing". I've had ridiculous offers over the phone and at times I have to visit which made my hotel stays always interesting. My Essex work colleague would wave his arms in a 'trowelling' motion - I did lay it on thick to certain ladies
