Cake of choice?

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

Those averse to cake threads : leave now!!

For the rest of us, what’s your cake of choice?

For me, it’s a toss up between a deep filled banofee pie, with a liberal topping of whipped cream, or the white chocolate and cranberry flapjack that I once bought in a little cake shop on my holibobs. That was absolute heaven!

C’mon Fabbers, put your diets to one side for a few minutes, what cake are you having!?

I like to keep it simple when it comes to cake, then I can have a bigger slice. Victoria sandwich cake with butter icing and strawberry jam is my fave

Can I add caramel shortbread to my list? Or is that disallowed as a tray bake?

Oh how can I choose. It has to be fluffy, but stodgy and moist but a bit crumby. Almost to tall to hold a slice in your hand. And some sort of cream to make a mess with.
