May I have a mini rant please?

Thank you!

There is a bus stop just outside my work and it’s perfect for me as I am having a bit of an issue walking far at the moment with the pain I’m in, I’ve got the same bus tonight a few times at the same time, never any problems, I get on the bus a few stops down (which is actually very far from where I need to be, decided to stop and he said ‘this is where I stop’ I said ‘I got this last night’ to which he just repeated himself, off I get not really knowing what to do, thankfully I had my phone to tell me where I could get another bus from and it was a little walk but still a bit of a distance considering my state lol.

I’m not normally one to complain but I knew I was right as I checked the timetable and my journey planner before I left, I asked on their Facebook page and yes the bloody driver should have gone to where I needed too!!! Thankfully I added screen grabs too lol.

Had I have been a young person and just chucked off in the dark, I would have been very angry as a parent.

Grrrr!! I’m off to lie down now!

I think any rant about public transport is allowable. On the whole, it's a shit service provided by the companies, whether it's bus, train, or any other means.

Hope you put in a complaint it’s not right. I once had that, had to get two buses and the second one stopped a mile from there I was going. I asked him what he was doing and he said if he didn’t have a break then he couldn’t stop again for an hour! I told him that wasn’t my issue and the break wasn’t on the timetable and I had somewhere to be. He wasn’t happy but he he knew I was right!

Never had a problem until tonight, I can’t fault them replying though, got it sorted within an hour and the driver is going to be spoken too. X

I wish I stood my ground really and showed him the timetable myself but it wasn’t until after I thought what I should have done, I haven’t complained as such, I did it in a nice way and they looked into it for me, had they of just left it then I would have done x

This is what we call a typical bus wanker. We only have one company running an they do as they please. Many times the last bus doesn’t come as many people here don’t complain or say anything. Winds me up

Make a complaint to the bus company - tell them which number and what time with what happened.

We have about three companies running here!! I guess I’m going to have to get used to crap service and there I was last night bigging them up!

I have so many public transport woes. Most recent being when the driver of my bus home from work just drove past us at the stop with our arms out. Meaning I had wasted my return ticket and had to pay for two other buses to get home.

That’s crap. I’ve only met one decent driver here. Nothing like the service you get down south. They was all so jolly an helpful makes such a difference to your day

Ads has a great company that he uses, it’s a little bus, properly heated and it’s like a little family on there, the drivers stop wherever you need (to be fair it’s a bit ‘country’ where he travels), it’s great x

Don't be so self critical mate. We all live and learn, plus if you pressed your point it could have esculated into something more serious.
