The other stocking

You have a pair of stockings and ladder/rip/put a hole in one. What do you do with the other?

This is not a euphemism but a genuine question. As I just tried something on and did just this . So into the bin it went.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

Buy all your stockings with the same design and just pair with another one. Seems to work for my socks.

Hiding in the shadows

I have a little voile drawstring bag, all the intact odd stockings get rolled up & put in there.

I know with my talons, I'll likely ladder one of the next pair I put on at some point during the night , so I've always got spares ready

i [asia] wear ripped stockings when i go to club or to meets people find them very sexy.

I do do that for some but like a variety of styles and colours. So still end up with odd ones.

Maybe I'll just use them to tie people with.

I do this and still damage them I did end up with one spare deep lace and a shallow one ages ago. Annoying. More spares needed

One of my friends does this too but they never seem to look right on me when I've tried.

Buy a heavier denier pair.

Tying up runner beans to their poles, stockings or tights cut into strips are perfect.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

If I know there isn't going to be another one to match it I use the them for cleaning. You just slide them on your hand you can dust fiddly things and odd corners where a duster or cloth doesn't work properly.

Laddered stockings are great for storing a wig,just put stocking on your hand and wrist,then take hold of crown of wig with that hand and pull stocking off arm down and over wig,simple.Then to remove it just cut toe end off and pull wig through

I know there special hosiery gloves available though.
