Yeah if they were close enough. I joined to see what it was about as a friend told me about it. I was on for about 2 days then got into a relationship and but forgot to delete it. Relationship ended about 9/10 months later and I cane back on so I would have had been on almost a year with no pics or veris.

It's something verified people have also done on numerous occasions..

Kind if why I treat veries with a big pinch of salt and only ever believe a meet is going to happen when the other person actually turns up....

But then I'm just a tad cynical

I've been on fab over a year with no veris.

When I first joined I spent about a month on the forums, didn't really connect with anyone, got bored and left.

Been back a couple of weeks and imagine it'll go the same way haha! Although I have seen a couple of profiles that actually interest me this time, so who knows....

We wouldn’t risk it. If they haven’t met anyone in all that time, then why would they all of a sudden want to meet us? And so far we have a 100% success rate from our selection process and I’d like it to stay that way.

I would and have met people without verifications, they may not have verifications for a number of reasons from not wanting any as they want to remain quite private to being previously verified and those people coming off fab, I've not got many verifications myself as people leave the site my number gets lower... lol... and people don't always leave verifications after a meet either...

Veris arent a true indication of if someone has actually met as many people dont use the veri system anyway. Plus we have had as many verified guys be timewasters as non verified.

We all had no verification at some point, but you have to wonder why after a year or so they they never got one yet. We all develop our pages over time I suppose and have a better understanding of the site works. But still? I think it would depend on how the person came across. G

we would & have... but would usually arrange to meet for a social, and either at or near to a club. Then if they're a no show, mad, or just window shopping... there are options so we don't waste our night.

I only meet people I’ve been chatting to for a while and then its for a social first. So if they haven’t been verified but we get on and I like them, yes I would meet someone. I’ve realised that some people dip in and out of fab and have various reasons for not having veris.

It's more to do with me being an ugly old git who no one wants to meet instead of being a time waster though

Yes I would, if I'd chatted to them via messages for a while and found a connection and chemistry was there - people change the way they use Fab all the time so length of time/number of veris wouldn't be as much of a concern as finding a connection would be

Yes, maybe they are just selective who they wish to meet, no timescale surely to meet and get verified, what about folks who were last verified 3-5yrs ago? Would you meet them? Or folks like ourselves who choose not to show our verifications?

Yes and have however, we heavily load the meet in our favour. One of our meets was a single guy, we spoke, got on great everything was fine, he booked a hotel on the day (lose his money if cancelled) close to ours, sent us an edited copy of the bill so we knew how much to pay half towards. At least we knew he'd committed and if a no show, no expense for us or much travel time...The meet turned out very well and still meet sometimes and on even terms.

Sometimes people don’t have veris!! They mean very little sometimes, yes they help the likes of us for example who are only looking for one ‘type’ (a bi single female) because there are so many ‘fakes’ out there but if they lived close enough and provided Live Photo’s to us we would probably set a social up.

If it's a man, yes, as I know it's difficult for men to get a break on here. If it's a couple- I'd think about it.

If it's a woman- no as it would raise way too many red flags, being on fab for a year and having no veris.

And same as some people already said- it would also depend on how far they are, as my usual limit is 50miles

Like most have said out would depend on the conversation before hand. Thankfully a very lovely couple "took a chance" with me. Wasn't that I had no veri's because I'm fake but you can send lots of messages and get no response or one word answer replies from those you're interested in. Yes you can go to a club for the social side but for sone that first trip there can be daunting. I'm a fairly relaxed, try to be funny (I think I am btw) guy but that first message or walking into the unknown is so hard to get right.

I would, I'm happy for a social, if they don't turn up I'll have a coffee and move on.

... The way I see it, just because someone hasn't met anyone/been verified doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong with them, or that they're a messer... Sometimes people have very clear preferences as to what or who they are looking for and will wait to find it before meeting rather than clock up dozens of meets with people who don't really fit the bill... Everyone has different expectations coming on here

Because of our location it took quite some time (over a year if I remember correctly) before we got any verification's on here.

As we only meet in clubs it doesn't really matter if they turn up or not so we don't really care about verification's other than for a bit of an idea about them.

if we were fitting them in to something else we were already doing, we would. That's often how we do first meets anyway, then if they don't turn up, it's no loss to us of our time or effort. We've found it's best although we rarely get no shows or last minute cancellations it happens occasionally no matter how much you do your checks and balances...
