Do you think verifications are good or bad?

Do you read them?

Personal experience it would be nice if it marked when you actually met the person because I have had two left on one day yet I met both posters days apart

I don't really bother with veris anymore as anyone I'm meeting I know a looooong time. But I know what you mean about the timing... I ended up getting 3 veris in one day a couple of years ago when friends of mine from another site found me on fab and all verified me... Two were play verifications and one was social... But I'd met them all at different times. I got a text from my fwb that night asking wtf I'd been up to since he had left my house that the morning loooool.

I read them.. I hope mine are read as they are quite dear to me. Not too bothered about how many days apart they are.. because we all know it's when they are written, not necessarily when it happened. Personally I don't see anything wrong with days apart from one another.

I think they can indicate an underlying trend off what someone’s like or the type of meets they have. Sometimes it matches what you’re after, other times not. But on the whole I like them and take them into account.

This bit rings true for me. I don't often read verifications until after I've met someone (the fact they are verified is good enough and that way I don't go down the comparison/second guessing route that is counter productive to a good fab time for me) and find that the above statement also rings true in retrospect. I also admit to reading those of people I am not interested in because they often make me laugh, even when they weren't written for a humorous purpose. I like mine anyway, even if no one else ever reads them.

I used to profile people, but been pleasantly surprised a number of times and shocked at how badly I've got it wrong.

I personally love them. It's like following breadcrumbs. I also like to look at the profiles of the ones they've met. It does play a part in my vetting process. Sometimes a piece may spring up on their meet veris too. The possibilities are endless... That and I'm a nosy sod

We always read them and take them into consideration but don’t make a complete judgement on them. Like to think others treat ours the same.

I think that following the veris trails back and seeing their previous meets, gives more of an insight into someone though.

A world of my own

When I first started on fab I was very anti verifications. I didn't want to recieve them or give them.

Who I meet is my business and I found it tacky.

While I still find them tacky at times, I'm now not as against them.

I don't think the content of them influences my decision to meet. I choose which ones I show, I imagine others do the same.

The problem with veris is you don’t see crap ones and even if they’d been left, they wouldn’t be displayed. It’s the veris that aren’t left that really are the most relevant. So in a way , they don’t work.

For me my veris show I am genuine and hopefully as they build will provide validation about my personality and what I offer sexually.

Reading veris tells you a lot about the person, especially when you read the profiles of the people they are meeting. One person I am messaging has great veris that make her much more attractive to me.

We quite like verifications. They provide some evidence that people are who they say they are, and give a small window into potential compatibility.

They also provide you with other potential playmates to target

Cant say they bother me, i have never asked for a veri and also only give them when someone REALLY makes an impression on me. The only thing that REALLY puts me off is if there high numbers of them on a profile that are not organised social related.

But as with everything it's each to their own isn't it?

I have mixed thoughts on them ... I like reading them but generally don’t like displaying them. It leads to too many questions in my experience and I also don’t like the aspect of people contacting you because of who you have met.

Still like reading them though, as long as they’re not graphic ...

The only verifications we take no notice of is by webcam i mean anybody can do that.

They're pointless. I could have 4 lovely veri's on show but hide 20,000 that say I'm a fucking nightmare..
