I was musing this topic as I was driving home from work today.

My question is simple - has Fab changed you and why?

Me? Well I realise I was very naive when I joined over a year ago and now I’m not so.

I'm far more at ease with the whole "You're bit my type" thing.

I really dint worry too much about trying to please others tastes any more.. I am who I am as a result of interaction and chatting here.

I would say I'm a lot more confident in my body shape, and I've learned to separate emotions from sex

Yes.. I thought I wanted to do all these crazy sexual acts and that I wasn't too fussed about who it was with.

Now I realise the person is far more important than the acts themselves.. That provided I'm comfortable with her, that there is trust and mutual physical and mental attraction.. only then am I prepared to do anything.

Sounds like a load of bollocks made up to impress.. but Fab has taught me I'm far more emotional than I realised I was.

Yes it has taught me to get a thicker skin and also not to be such a people pleaser.

I can’t respond to all messages, yes it’s polite to reply even with a no but if I did I would get nothing done.

I am also not as naive and I know that a mental connection makes a physical connection so much better

Oh god, everyone has grown so much as people since they joined. I feel like I have stunted emotional maturity in comparison.

I don’t feel as though it has changed me at all. I still know what I want and I still don’t give myself a hard time if I don’t get it. I still worry about how people view me sometimes (though I’m good at covering it with an irrepressible show of confidence). I still have a habit of turning partners into friends, thus draining the sexual tension. I’m still kinda shit at sex, (though my blowjobs rock).

All in all, I really don’t think I’ve changed in the last couple of years.

It's helped me to see that having a liberated attitude towards sex is not a bad thing. I was repressed for so many years. Joining fab helped me to see things clearer and not to be ashamed.

Thanks to fab my life has literally changed 100%! If I hadn’t if joined, I wouldn’t have met Ads, which means we wouldn’t be getting married next month (eeek!), I wouldn’t live in a new place that has so much to offer, I wouldn’t have a job that I adore so much, I wouldn’t have this amazing new family and I wouldn’t have two brilliant little additions to my life, Ads kiddies. So I have ALOT of time for fab, it changed me for the better!!

Been on here a very long time, both of us had our own successful single profiles. We met here so that was a massive change for me as id been single (but had lots of fwbs) for over 12 years.

Think ive learnt a lot and my confidence had grown as a result of being on here. Im far more accepting of my faults and willing to see past others.
