for reasons i’m regretting now i agreed to do a night shift in work, the plus to this is there’s no one else in the building and the music is lifting the roof off.

what are your perks when doing the late shift?

How rude!

I don’t work late very often, I’d rather come home and log in from here... then I can have dinner in my jammies.

unfortunately i’ll be going home at 5 only to take my wife the train station and daughter to school then coming back to work, so no sleep until tomorrow evening for me.

You don’t half waste your day though... I used to cover the night girls when they went on holiday and I slept all day and worked at night. I didn’t quite get having a life into the pattern of my time management.

I'm standing in for the gaffer just now, so when it's quiet or everything is going OK I get a chance to jump on here and see what's happening! Plus this is my last one, off for 3 days!!!

You get used to nights - it is quieter and you get less hassle!

It's weird on night shifts isn't it, you seem to lose the hours where your life should fit in, in between the sleep and the work and having tea at breakfast time

in the centre

I used to like the night shift when I did it for the peace and quiet , you hadn't got as many staff in , could have the less popular radio station on
