Finished work for the day.

I started at 8 am

That's 16 hours

38 hours. It was on a job we were doing in Stornoway between Christmas and New year so wanted to finish it as soon as possible and get back home

In an old job, around 34 hours, because someone didn't turn up for a night shift.

56 hrs. 24 hr pool hall in Blackpool. Slept on the snooker table. 2 of us on so took turns.

Longest continuous shift was 48 hours.Red Bull and ProPlus certainly helped towards the end

Hubby once worked a 28 hour shift in a 24 hour period..........

In his job overtime is paid at a set amount of hours for the duty being worked, regardless of how long it takes to actually do the job. In reality he worked an 18 hour shift but got paid for 28 hours

About 18 hours I think, but that’s hard going for the job I do. It’s not good having micro dreams when you’re driving at break neck speeds.
