fabio's hard hitting topic of the day....part 1... mastermind!

Newcastle and Gateshead

the producers of mastermind have said they will no longer take "harry potter" as a specialist subject....

this now joins the "no" list of fawlty towers, blackadder and father ted

so..... people of the fabswingers universe....this is your chance to show how cool/nerdy you are!

what would be your specialist subject?????

The writings of Jane Austen. And with that subject, trust me, I'd win.

"Aww why no more Harry Potter"

because they have said they got over 300 applications for that as a subject last year, and there are only so many questions they can ask.......

my subject would be arsenal 89-99..... or "films featuring rocky balboa (except rocky v because that film never existed!)"

Mine would be Formula 1.

When the great Murray Walker appeared on celebrity Mastermind I could answer each and every one of his questions and I hadn't even realised he was on...therefore no swotting.

It's worth noting that none of those subjects are "banned". But the rules are that only one contender each year can choose any given subject...Harry Potter and Fawlty Towers have already been done.
