Lost count amount time so called single guys can't accommodate due to Decorating ,building work ,house in a mess etc ...#Married

We start "projects" in the home, but when it gets tedious, there's no motivation (nagging ) to get it bloody finished!

19 months after moving in, 1 room complete, 1 room half done, at this rate I probably won't be finished this decade

So I've discovered!

Given the other half til May to finish the work he started in October 2014 (adding a radiator, fixing the leak in the bathroom, installing new bathroom, connecting sockets, replace flashing around skylight. Did I mention he's a heating engineer, electrician, roofer?

If I have to put my hand in my pocket to complete the works before I can put the house on the market he'll not be moving with me.

I never assume they're married, I assume they don't want me in their home which is fine, just don't expect an invite to mine.

I can accommodate at times but I see a lot of my kids and I also have grown up kids who turn us and when they please so if I was going to have somebody round I’d need to be sure my kids wouldn’t be calling in. Single men have lives that can get in the way too ya know.

I know how that goes. I used to multi-trade (mostly bathrooms & kitchens). Still can't be added at home, because I'm not being paid for it haha!
