Obviously I don't have a wife or girlfriend, but being a girlfriend, the best gift I ever got was a weekend in London and surprise tickets to see Wicked on stage. The boy did good on that one. Been wanting to see Wicked for ages.

When I was married.........

A bought him a surprise flying lesson, got him to the airport with no idea what was going on....

A weekend in Paris, organised time off with his boss, he didn't know til he came home and his case was packed ready for the morning....

Got him to the church, ready in his suit, to renew our vows.....he thought he was going for lunch with his mum

Best gift I ever got was from my ex. I love Robins and he got me a proper glass old fashioned paperweight with a Robin on it. And a glass sign with the serenity prayer on it.

A dream catcher too.

He was good at gifts.

Best gift I ever got a partner was a virtual reality headset thingy that connected to his pc with surround sensors and what not. Really cool. It was a 'just because' gift. Shame he was a dick.
