What are your fab rules, that keep you sane, upbeat etc?

One of mine is not to visit my messages later at night, when I clearly won't be meeting.

I block everyone from messaging me so I know I'll only receive messages from people that I want to talk to. I don't discuss religion or politics and, perhaps the most important, is not taking the site seriously because there's far bigger things in the world to worry about.
