So so far ive not been in this position on here but have a couple of times on POF. what do you do if youre cat fished. on pof its just a date so being nice i just have the date and just enjoy the night. however if its a meet without a prior social and when they arive or you pick up and they're not what you was exspecting do you ....... 1) say sorry and tell them theyre not for you

........2) let them down gentle.. what do you say?

........3) go ahead with the meet

A fab meet for us is no different from a POF date really. Meet over a glass of wine and have a nice chat, take things further if there’s chemistry. So obviously if there’s no chemistry, we’d just enjoy the glass of wine and chat.

You shouldn't feel under pressure to "play" if your not feeling it and the same goes for those your meeting too

Being catfithed means they are pretending to be someone they're not.

If that happened I would leave.

If they've been dishonest then I owe them nothing.

Had this a few years ago met been chatting to someone for ages on SH we had chatted on phone and text her pics looked amazing i met her at local railway station and thought her mum had came instead her pics must have been at least 20yrs old

I had already prepared some lunch and got her fav drinks in but didn't progress any further than a pleasant social

I imagine it's there mirrors, mines a real bastard when it wants to be, but every now and again i catch a glimpse of myself(sun in my eyes and shooting past at 90mph late as usual)and think hey you look just the same as you did at 19..

So to sum up when you meet them shine a torch in there face and ask them to run around the room..seems reasonable to me.
