Dear Friends Fabbers and Forumites.

Ok my name's Taff and I adore call the midwife .

Yes I have said it . I've been a fan since day one .

It's tackled some tough issues . Bisexuality , poverty, domestic abuse and recently racism .

Plus the Doctor in the show talks exactly like I do .

So are there any more fans out there

Absolutely adore it, my son has loved it from the start when he was about 8, he’s 13 now. For his 9th birthday he went on a private tour of Chatham dockyard where they film it.

My Sunday’s are complete again!

I thought bi women were fairly accepted these days.

Anyway, not wanting to go off topic, yeah, it's a great show (the few episodes that I've seen).

They've covered just about everything this series.

I've been in tears over big things and little things. It is so well written.

The voiceover at the credits that there's a Christmas special in 9 months makes me wonder if scheduling did that deliberately.

I love it. Was actually heartbroken at last weeks episode. Poor Barbera, poor Tom.

If I could go back in time, then I'd love to go back to those times.

The books are really good. Anyone going through bereavement I recommend Jenny Lee's In the Midst of Life. Helped me cope with Mum's death no end.

It was always bound to leave the book behind when they decided to keep going and cover all the major issues of those years.

The clothes remind me of my mother.

My now 13 year old son used to love it, so much so for his 9th birthday he wanted to go round Chatham dockyard, we even managed to get a personal tour with us and the tour guide, sadly since his dad and I split he can’t watch like he did, he is autistic and Sunday nights used to be ‘our’ thing. Which is a huge shame.

I’m really happy it has got another three series left, I really didn’t want it to end! And another 3 Christmas specials!

Anyone else worried that Fred was going to pop his clogs last night and when reggies girlfriend walked in, I cried! Love it so so much.

I cried at Reggies girlfriend too. And at the ‘how would it feel to be in that grandma situation’. That was gut wrenching (even tho the granny did wrong - she’s still her gran at the end of it all)
