I have learnt how to do so much stuff on YouTube!

Knit, crochet, fit an aux cable to the back of my car radio, fix my automatic windows after they freeze when the battery dies, find out how to open the bonnet on my new car (hidden under the badge lol) among other things.

What has YouTube taught you?

It's the type of knowledge old dads used to pass on to there kids.

Car repairs, plumbing etc etc in one short period of time it's slowly disappearing

Admittedly cars etc are more complicated but a lad in the office at 20yo didn't know how to change a fuse or a light bulb

I learnt how to hang a door, wite a oil and general car maintenance at school which was really valuable but having said that my dad is a very good teacher as well but I like to find out how to do things myself as well.

Just learnt how to reset a central locking key fob.... Must have looked crazy opening and closing the door so many times lol

I love using it to wrap presents up...

Before Youtube I had a collection of over 3000 VHS casssettes.....

Also as the guy above said, I learned a lot about house maintenance, car repairs, mending clothes etc. and life in general from my parents.

Now when my elderly mother phones me up because her vacuum cleaner is blocked, I direct her to the correct Youtube video....

I think the last thing Youtube helped me with was deleting a game from an Xbox.

I've used it to remove viruses from a pc, decorate cakes and look for ballet techniques.
