Quite a lot to be honest. An adult conversation about anything and everything can do a lot to a person's mood. It's a good distraction from the crap that wizzes around in our brains.

That's not why we chat on here but I (Him) am always happy to chat with anyone regardless of sexuality, after all, as Bob Hoskins said, "It's good to talk"

Hull but travel regularly

If I’m not in a good place I don’t chat.

"If I’m not in a good place I don’t chat."

Sometimes it's far too easy to isolate yourself from the world isn't it. I have a couple of people I talk to when I'm in a really bad place but quite a lot get shut out. Fortunately I have some good friends who understand so they don't take it personal if they don't hear from me for weeks on end.

I have had depression for donkeys years. Long as I can remember. I’m on meds but I do find chatting here and getting compliments etc a bit of a boost definitely. I also hate the rejection and take it badly so swings and roundabouts so to speak.

It’s always good when you meet other like minded people though. I’m very lucky now to be part of a couple and he really understands my mental health which is great.

I know this may sound silly.. but my daughter has broke up with her long term partner today, and I'm feeling really sad about it. They met at uni 5 years ago and they seemed so well suited

Awwh that sucks. Just be there for her and make sure she feels supported it’s not easy to loose someone you’ve been together with for a while.

Failing that tell her all men are barstards and get her d*unk that’s what my old man did when I broke up with my ex.

I guess I felt content knowing she was in a relationship and happy.. but then I met my ex (Her dad) young and that didn't work out, so maybe she needs a few relationships before she settled down for good?

I just feel really upset about it..

I imagine this would be the worst place for a lonely depressed single male haha!

On a more serious note, i think staying indoors on the internet would just feed depression. If you're depressed, get yourself out in nature. Preferably naked!

Ok, the naked bit probably isn't necessary, but you never know, it might help.

Depression is a demon that we shouldn't let win. But it is hard. If you ever need to talk. I will listen, no matter how trivial it may seem.

I am sorry to hear about your last week. The thing about Fab, is that there are a lot of good people here, for whom the social/ communication element is as important as thw swinging bit x

I suffer from PTSD and with it being particularly bad, over the last month I find, coming on Fab chatting to friends and immersing myself in the fantasy world is a distraction unfortunately as the Verve sang " the drugs don't work they just make you worse " is bloody true x

Been depressed for past few years now, still have a cpn coming out to my house weekly for "a chat" but like others I find it helps to chat on here aswel, even if it's just about utter shite. That's why I tend to reply to anyone even if they are miles away and absolutely not what I'm looking for, but aslong as everyone knows that and they are just there to talk with it's all good.

I’ve had depression

Of nice

It changed me as a person

But I am a better rounded person now, less agressive. But the medication I was on had estrogen in it. That I think is what changes you!

Since I had this is how I became a tv

the gym and random places

Sometimes a stranger is the best source of comfort. Many a time I have been able to detach from everything and everyone and speak to someone on here.

I work solo, my husband works nights. Most days being on here is my only source of adult conversation.
