Edinburgh

Friday night is music night on BBC 4.

What are your 5 favourite albums?

I don’t mean albums that you think are trendy or cool. I mean albums bring back the most memories for you (even your guilty secrets).

Mine.......

U2 -Joshua Tree (yes, I know that’s what prompted this)

Lloyd Cole etc- Rattlesnakes

R.E.M.- Automatic for the people

Nirvana- Nevermind

Oasis- What’s the Story Morning Glory

Fatboy Slim- You’ve come a long way baby

Yes, that’s six, but it’s my post, so f*** off with your pedantry.??

Lies over appetite? I like both albums, but appetite pips it for me. Spaghetti incident was good too!

My 5, god this will be hard to narrow down...

Nirvana - Never Mind

Pearl Jam - Ten

Soundgarden - Superunknown

Sonic Youth - Dirty
