How often do you argue with people 'in real life'?

Frequently seems to be people on tv or t'internet arguing about any little thing.

Is everyone's default emotion 'angry' these days?

it is with telephone companies , banks etc

but only if they deserve it

ordinary people try not to life is too short

I had words with a woman who complained about a very frail old man getting on the bus before us. Her argument was that she was brought up thinking men should be the gentlemen and let ladies on first. I pointed out that the man could barely walk, with the aid of a walking stick and her parents should have taught her to be courteous to aged people with walking sticks. That was the end of our conversation.

Very seldom, lifes too short.

I've been told in the past my height puts people off arguing with me. I don't know about that, I'm not that tall, but one of the funniest experiences - at least to me - was a road rage incident in a supermarket car park. I was edging out when a car shot past and suddenly stopped. They seemed to think I was pulling out on them and a guy got out of the passenger side strode across to my door and wrenched it open. I saw him coming so popped the seat belt in preparation. As he opened the door I stood up and said "go on, give it your best shot". By the time I'd finished saying that he was looking up at me. Needless to say he scuttled off back to his car.

Yeah I'm perimenopausal,so what! I snapped at someone in Morrisons the other month which is definitely not me,poor sod just mumbled something back to me. In a weird way it was quite liberating .

I really should have apologised.

Not many people I meet are argumentative so I tend to keep it in but cross me and the devil's child comes out.

I think we are all capable of it and when I was younger I'd argue the corner in a round room (complete idiot) but now I'm more chilled out and much prefer the chilled out me
