Ireland Tournament Winner which the finale will be between Ireland and wales, because England will never get to the finale due to the way I feel. So I putting down £100 on Ireland to win.

male here - my heart says Ireland but my head says.....absolutely no idea !

Ireland are looking strong, England's injury list is huge, Scotland can upset anyone now (or should that be know ?!), France could be dark horses and Waleshave a bad habit of upsetting Ireland lol.

England have a World Cup winning squad and that is Jones’s goal so I think England will win. However, both Ireland and Wales have very strong club teams at the moment, so it really is anyone’s year this year and almost impossible to call.

Promotion and relegation between the 6 Nations and the Rugby Europe Championship would be a great step forward, would also help second tier teams such as Georgia and Romania develop and potentially become top tier teams, but the powers that be have categorically refused to introduce it

Definetly a good first weekend of rugby bit disappointed that all the injuries really affected scotland, a full strength scotland would have really put a cat among the pigeons but wales played well and ireland deserved to win by alot more, the french match doctor and his "HIA" decisions were a joke and very good solid start by england the next few rounds are gonna be very interesting

You say that, but what about the fact that Wales had even more injuries than Scotland did?

Next week is going to be interesting...I think Italy may not win but they will give Ireland a bit of a shock...Scotland v France both teams smarting from a defeat will be a good match...But the real fight will be England v Wales cant wait to watch that one.

Scotland undid themselves and once Wales had monentum it was lucky it wasn't a bigger margin.

France Ireland was brutal especially first half and some questionable off the field shennanigins. Nigel Owens' hands were tied. He had to follow the doctors orders. The end result was deserved but the lesson learned is never write the french off at home. Some big brass balls on Johnny Sexton!

England looked solid in the main. Italy much improved. The scoreline was not representative of the skill difference. There was talk about how the Italy tries showed England have defensive vulnerabities. In my opinion it was them switching off. I think they will be more switched on for the boyos.

Gone off, licked the wounds, and now I’m back - raring to go - second weekend of 6 Nations.

In Laidlaw we trust - the steady ships captain back at the helm

England wales will be a cracker i reckon (not sure who I will be supporting - have never felt comfortable shouting for the auld enemy - I’m sure there’s some kind of implanted at birth kill switch inside that prevents me from shouting those words .. come on eng.... nope!) . Certainly don’t feel like cheering on wales after the humiliation of last week

Ireland Italy - should be Ireland - but you never know ...

Thoughts on team selections anyone ?

Good to see laidlaw back. I could never cheer England, but somehow I don't see Wales being good enough.......

I definitely see Ireland taking a bonus point win against Italy ! A bit to prove in attack, methinks !!

Still some way to go but it looks like England v Ireland could be a winner takes all game for 6 nations championships ,Grand Slam and Triple Crown.

I don’t think it was ever likely to be anything else. Last year was the same.

Interesting to see how Scotland v France pans out today though. Don’t think we’ve seen the best from either side yet!

. My knowledge on Rugby not the best I agree England and Ireland are the two best teams and should be a winner takes all on St Patrick's day I believe at Twickenham. However Wales , France and Scotland could all give them a run for their money on their day.Scotland 32 - France 26 just what I need for my tournament total points bet.

you say that, but Ireland still have to play Wales and Scotland. After today, Scotland will have a bit of confidence - I still think thectournament has more surprises......

"No internationals this weekend. Any good club matches worth watching ?"

Wasps v Exeter Chiefs. Exeter smashed them when they came down to Devon. After we lost to Worchester last weekend we are looking for blood and we love a splattered Wasps

This weekend could be intriguing, I think. A win for Ireland goes without saying but could Scotland produce an upset at Murrayfield ? Oh and the bottom 2 teams are playing as well

Wish England did that too. Me, Dad and Brother all love rugby but so far to travel to twickenham. That should play at Kingston Park!!
