I can see it. When I look in the mirror my mum is starting to look back

Personality wise I'm very like my Dad. I've adopted a lot of his traits and sense of humour.

I am lucky to have wonderful parents and I'm proud to be taking after them (apart from the getting older part!).

Are you like your parents? Do you find yourself saying things they do or acting in ways they would?

Did your parents give you good or bad traits? Do you have a good relationship?

Do these things affect the way you are with your own children?

Nothing like my parents thank f##k!

When I was pregnant with our first I decided that I would do the complete opposite of my upbringing. Home cooked meals (as often as possible with shift working), listening to my kids (soooo important) and spending real quality time with them

Albeit a very sarcastic one but I mostly blame my mother for that

I remember when I got home from a night out and decided to cook myself a bacon sandwich while listening to Elvis and singing along at the top of my voice. It was in that moment I knew I was turning into my dad.

I do look a lot like him now, I'm just glad he still has a full head of hair.

Did have a moment the other day. Was on a shopping tour of clothes brand shops looking for presents for a teenager. Found myself several times screeching 'HOW MUCH?!' in genuine shock and complaining about how hot it was.

But generally, I am sober, they are secure in my love for them and I acknowledge their feelings, so I am nothing like my parents.

I'm my dads image and have his humour but my mums nature. I am getting more like him daily. I see it when I discipline my children x

I'm like my father to look at and very much like him in my character, which drove my mother crazy when I was growing up. I do find d myself saying a lot of things my mother used to say and notice that I have certain of her traits too. I consciously avoided some of both of their parenting skills while deliberately adopting others.

I am extremely lucky to have an excellent relationship with them both now although with my mother this has come about because she depends on me so much and because I am willing tolerate certain behaviours towards me.

My parents are awesome!

And I'm proud to say I'm like a little cocktail of them both

I get to see them this week, under sad circumstances but still happy to see them!

I no longer have my parents .... but I think im a mixture of them both ....my dad was very laid back ....my mum practical and honest ....I think ive turned out ok...just wish I had someone special to share my good nature with ....

My parents are both deceased but I do take after them.

My dad was a bit of a ladies man, good looking but with a terrible temper, he was a spender and liked the good life

My mum would do anything for anyone, often to her detriment, she got excited about things for the Home such as house improvements and new gadgets! She was also quite short tempered at times. She had gorgeous eyes and looked at least 10 years younger.

Both were incredibly hard working and would give their last penny to someone else that needed it.

Well me I don’t have a short temper, but I bottle it all up and then rage for days (poor mr!) I’m a spendaholic and get excited about Home gadgets ( awaiting a delivery of a vacuum as we speak!) I would go without to help others in need and value my friends and family, so yep very much like them

I don't know what my biological dad was really like as I never really knew him.

I look like my mum, we like the same TV shows, both enjoy adult colouring. I have similar tastes in books and films as my stepdad and I think I get my love of reading from him as we're big readers and my mum isn't. Us three are all as unsubtle, sarcastic and dry as you could be.

I'm adopted, so have no idea who I look like.

But personality wise, my dad & I - we were identical!

Our birthdays only a few days apart, both Taurus.

People always commented how alike we were it was uncanny

From the bridge of my nose down im my dad, eyes (albeit different colour) and forehand is mother. Think the personality is pretty mixed aswell.

My dad loved the company of women, a lot! I think he would have been a lot happier if things like fab and such had been available to him, and I think he would still with us today had the understanding of mental health been there then, but yeah, I'm just like him, apart from the amount of kids, and I'm a bit taller rambling over sorry

Love my Mum and Dad dearly. They did a good job with both my sister and me and have definitely become even better as the years go by. I’ve inherited my Mum’s emotional side (I’m a big softie who likes to help others) but also inherited my Dad’s ability to put together a logical argument. We had our disagreements in my teenage years and have different values to an extent, albeit the most fundamental ones are shared. We are still very close, if not closer than ever, and I’ll really miss them when they go

I recently inherited one of those little key ring photo viewers you used to get done years ago at Butlins, it has a picture of my Nan in it, I'm a dead ringer for her XXX

Not meeting

I look like my mum but hope I don’t behave like her!! I’ve my dad’s eyes & sense of humour. My step-mum is like the big sister I never had. We are most alike to the point where we buy each other the same gifts. We’ve bought the same wallpaper & handbags before
