"I can see it. When I look in the mirror my mum is starting to look back Personality wise I'm very like my Dad. I've adopted a lot of his traits and sense of humour. I am lucky to have wonderful parents and I'm proud to be taking after them (apart from the getting older part!). Are you like your parents? Do you find yourself saying things they do or acting in ways they would? Did your parents give you good or bad traits? Do you have a good relationship? Do these things affect the way you are with your own children? " I'm like my father to look at and very much like him in my character, which drove my mother crazy when I was growing up. I do find d myself saying a lot of things my mother used to say and notice that I have certain of her traits too. I consciously avoided some of both of their parenting skills while deliberately adopting others. I am extremely lucky to have an excellent relationship with them both now although with my mother this has come about because she depends on me so much and because I am willing tolerate certain behaviours towards me. | |||
