What's your experience with people local to you,

Have you had much contact or do you stay clear, I don't think many use the forums in my area,

I can imagine Women/couples receive a lot more messages from locals then Men,

In a ideal world finding a few local Women/couples would suit me but just by reading status updates most seem to be cranks/fakes or I'm not attracted to them/their not attracted to me

I generate practically no interest locally or regionally.

I have slightly more luck nationally.

I suspect the problem lies with the organic part of the human/keyboard interface at my side of the screen

Sadly not much contact with the locals. One or two use the forums apart from that they seem a quiet bunch who keep themselves to themselves ha ha

I would say a good percentage of the Women/couples local to me are on the club scene as there is 4/5 within 40 miles

Once or twice it has shown as 'less than a mile', which is not good, as I live very rurally. Thankfully they didn't show for long, and were just passing through

But 'hello' is perceived as interested in meeting. Sometimes it is just like watching cams. Just pure visual pleasure

As a single male, I didn't have a lot of luck with people local. Of the three I chatted with, one wouldn't meet people within a certain distance, and another kept ducking out of meets and I ended up blocking her

I don't search locally. at all. Most are forces anyway, so don't fit with the way I meet... plus I prefer discretion. I don't want to bump into anyone from here while I'm out with my family.

Don't really meet locals, we tend to travel as we like making a weekend of it and visit a club as there is no clubs in our area. Our nearest is blackpool or preston.

In my experience most people are fibbing about true locations here anyway!

I wouldn't really wish to meet folk on my doorstep generally, but it's a lottery as to where people truly live on here!

Well, i dont normally get much insolicited mail from near me. But I recieved a message about an hour ago from a silhouetted local that made me look closely to ensure it wasnt from a fella! Straight and to the point!

Well I have 2 guys and a couple at the school our kids go to, the couple thought I could be persuaded to meet seperately if they threw in a stripper - male got creepy real quick and still stares at me daily.

One of the guys is grand doesn't bat an eye lid at me.

The other found it appropriate to question me at work and insist we needn't be shy and should unblock him - he was blocked for several reasons including the fact I wouldn't want to be caught in a playground spat should his wife ever happens upon his extra marital activities, but mainly because so far as I'm aware I still get a choice as to who puts their dick in me and quite simply he doesn't excite me - I'm not sure with his persistent messages he got that concept!

I had someone allegedly female (though unwilling to talk on the phone to confirm) following me going about my day, messaging me to tell me where I was shopping and when, giving me my neighbours names though I'd never told her where we lived.

There's another couple where the male got stroppy when me and the fem went out and didn't get it on (middle of a summers day and in the town - can't imagine why). He then got stroppy again when my hubby happened across her and didn't bang her in the local car park, also middle of the day in the summer (again why ever not eh).

We have met some pleasant people locally that have gone no further than a social. We now tend to stick to further afield purely because it saves the awkward situations like above.

I hate the 'who is near' feature and do turn it off now and again.

The reason is due to the expectation from some men, who message, Ohh how exciting, we're only 0.25 mile away, fancy a cheeky meet?

I'm surrounded by army. They flood my box. There are a few Forumites close by but we don't chat. I was contacted by a guy very close, no pics attached. It unnerved me a little tbh. I will meet local people but most of them aren't for me.

Im surrounded by forces guys here Marines, army and Navy. Not for me. Never looked at whos local but the local updates just about say it all really. Get a few messages from local guys but no-one has yet to bounce my web..

Sadly my area is full of disrespectful men, who just think this is dial a fuck, only the other day I was called a whore! It was in response to an update of mine stating 'I found it so disrespectful of men who you had never spoken to before, message to say 'in hotel now, meet now!'

The message sent was: 'if you act like a whore, expect to be treated like a whore'

Attitudes of men are sickening me more and more if I am being honest

The same thought went through my head as I read that.

A couple of months back I'd left my phone logged in to fab as I drove my hour commute back home. At the end I checked fab to find a message that just said "You're within half a mile!". I'd driven through the town they were in, the profile was just the silouette so I didn't pursue.

I did that recently, driving home from seeing my FB, stopped at services & message pops up, I read it, didn't reply, another message looked round,

Could actually see the bloke across the food court.

I left.

He sent me a rather shitty 3rd message!

As for where I prefer to meet... Less local!

I rather have regular friends but at the same time I don't want to end up getting the 'are you free later' messages every night, I've been there once before & having to constantly say no, became awkward.

So a little distance, kind of stops that happening
