"Tripe!"

Awww, don't. It brings back memories of preparing it for old folks. Soaking it in vinegar and cutting it up into bite size pieces *shudders*.

When I got a cat from a local rescue home, many years ago. they used to feed their cats on butchers leftover giblets and bran. It worked out at 6p a cat a day. I thought, I'll do that so it at least has food that it was familiar with. Only ever boiled one bag of giblets.........never again. It had chicken and coley fish after that

It's a Cheshire thing. Old people eat it when they are not well, because it 'slips down' and easy on their tummy.

You have to wonder what bits they put in cat and dog food though!

Have never fed my pets on tinned pet food. Has always been food fit for humans. A 'posh' tin of cat food, can be more expensive, and smaller than an own brand tin of tuna, without the heaving smell. Corned beef was cheaper for dogs than dog food..........
