Apparently, Roald Dahl didn’t like the first film, but his estate approved of the Johnny Depp one. He’s still my favourite author, but Fantastic Mr Fox is my favourite book Best character in Charlie though is Willy Wonka himself | |||

Dahl not liking the first one I mean. The Witches was a great movie but even then they couldn't leave Dahl's story as it was and had to go for a Hollywood happy ending, like they do. | |||
