Afternoon guys. After speaking to a lady for a few days. She asked did I smoke. My reply was no I vape Tho. Her reply was "same thing" And has now stoped messages .

So 1 Do you think its the same

2 Would you meet a vaper.

In my personal opinion I think its not the same and even the nhs are backing the use of Ecigs. so far their are no known damaging Efects. You can also get 0 nicotein strengh.

I’d meet a vaper but not a smoker. Maybe she felt vaping was still smoking.

Perhaps add one sentence to your profile, that you have declared yourself a non-smoker, but still vape. Maybe add whether you can withhold vaping during meets or not. Save another mix up

I've been using a vape for a few weeks now, I'd still class my myself as a smoker, merely by the actual action.

I've got a few flavours, which are very nice smelling but I appreciate not everyone wants to smell it, so I've left 'smoker' on my profile.

Yes this is a good idea. I only meet non smokers and some have turned out to be vapers. I can taste it straight away on them and it’s not for me. We both end up disappointed then.

Sometimes I find vaping more intrusive than smoking, I've been sat in in traffic and the smell of vaping has come into the car, and it's certainly more pungent walking past smoking shelters at work. Fine is you like the smell but find a lot of them are sweet and sickly.

However Fred is a smoker but he doesn't smoke in the house; so I wouldn't not meet vapers but I'd probably not enjoy them doing it inside.

I don't see them as the same thing entirely but do to some extent. If you are using anything with nicotine in, I wouldn't even class it as being quit as its nicotine you're quitting when you give up. Like you say you can get liquids with 0 nicotine in, my response to that is what's the point, unless you're using it to overcome the habit from smoking and will eventually stop.

I can understand why a non smoker may see them as the same, especially when you see people pretty much glued to their vapes.

In terms of being around a vaper, much more preferable to a smoker.

Cigarette's really turn my stomach, I can put up with the smell of vape.

However, I've never snogged a vaper so don't know the difference on that front. May have to find someone to experiment with.

I don’t mind the smell of it but don’t know what it tastes like. If I could taste it and it was unpleasant then it would put me off. However as it stands I’d meet a vaper. I’d probably still meet a smoker depending on how heavily they smoked and how strong the smell was. A social would be my way of discovering whether it was ok or not. I’ve met some where it was too strong a smell for my liking and others less so. So I guess it depends

Think ill drop down to 0 for few weeks then give up 100%

Though its good to stop sugar cravings due to sweet flavours which is another reason i like vape
