As the other thread has filled up I thought I’d post one for the finale ~ 10 days to go & then we can all be super smug

I’ve discovered the joys of Fever Tree Clementine over lots of ice & a slice of lemon / lime

Okay so it’s not quite the same minus a shot of Hendricks but it’s pretty good!

I think i'm within the limits of dryish january- having only had a couple of small beers and a vodka and orange...i did say it wasn't going to be completely avoided, but i have more than that on the average friday night in

Does it make you want it more not having it for a month or do you still think you could do without. Does the abstinence wean you off at all. (I'm not much of a drinker so just curious) x

Doesn’t wean me off it per se but it does makes me rethink my drinking habits~ it’s a bit like dieting at times though, saying I can’t have makes me want it

A note of caution: don't go mad when you start to drink again. It can be a shock to your system and worse for you than if you had been drinking too much consistently.

I hope being alcohol free for January has helped people to feel and sleep better, rethink their drinking habits and save some money.

I think it’s a good time to re-evaluate habits, I find it sets me up well for the start of a new year. I have some homemade Gin which I’m looking forward to trying.
