A bit tongue in cheek (another saying!) but, inspired by a Welsh women's post on the Hottest Fab Fantasy thread in which she wouldn't name her guy in case he blocked her.

Guys, am I right in assuming we're more likely to be blocked by a women than blocking them?

Not in my case...When I am on here I try always to be kind, considerate, and helpful but I don't take any nonsense or give 2nd chances..1 strike and its a block...no dramas...its just easier that way...

I’ve blocked loads of women. Not because I don’t like them or we have had an argument. But just because I don’t want to meet them and so they don’t come up in my search results

I don't block often but I have noticed I've been blocked by some women I've never even spoken to. I haven't noticed any men do that.

Had to check, I've not done many.

I've only blocked people whose opinions I've seen in the forums, that lead me to believe I would not want to spend time with them.

Probably little chance of doing so. But wanted to ensure I didn't meet by accident.

As to being blocked, I've no idea. I am only aware of one for sure.

Not really; I think women enjoy reading and ignoring messages, as it winds blokes up more by keeping them hanging around? I readily block if I or they don’t match, no point having my slice of Fab clogged up with unsuitables

You may not know how many women have blocked you guys, as they may not all be people you have messaged, so perhaps won't have noticed when trying to revisit them.

As the song goes, so many men to block, so little time.

I think women probably block more on average, for many reasons

From a couples perspective: we block people if there is really no attraction, regardless of sex.

We block because of derogatory messages.

Endless attached cockshots (15+ )

And a few other things.

When we look at local updates if there is a digusting picture or a new member who clearly isn't to our taste - blocked.

Why? Well over time you can filter out the shit and a large percentage of those you don't want messaging you. Saves on the same cut and paste messages and the wank bank collectors.

But in more referenece to the original question. Yes, it does tend to be more guys getting blocked but that is ONLY because of the sheer ratio of you. Couples and women aren't treated any different to us.

And yes our block list is so extensive I wouldn't scroll to the bottom if you paid me

Blocking is a useful tool, not a punishment.

I have blocked loads because I don't meet what they are looking for, they don't meet what I'm looking for or because they are local and their status looks like they let the local kindergarten do a status shuffle

I'm very hot headed so will probably block everyone at some point! But i usually deblock when i have gained some perspective.

Usually it's because :

A) i'm nosing your profile too much and worry i'm getting stalker tendencies, so its for your benefit really!

B) You've fucked me off in a PM/forum post

C) You live in Gibralter and have asked to meet now!!!

D) You have taken advantage of my good nature in some abhorrent way

E) You come across as too weird and keep checking my profile

F) You live too close

G) I'm hormonal and moody

Our block list is long but only them that are fake couples or just not for us, people messing us about and either cancel last minute or just don’t turn up or people that are just abusive and have no manners. Also people asking why we haven’t replied to messages - which we make sure both of us have read before we reply anyway! We’ve been told we’re fake just because 1 of us has been online and not answered message just because it’s been read
