Melting my eyes

Ok, so after a lengthy chat today with Kinky I was told that I melted his eyes.

What he meant was I melt his heart.

After much giggling and mental images of the bad guys in Indiana Jones where their eyes melt, I wondered if any of you have had compliments which didn't exactly say what they meant?

Maybe private messages where you couldn't quite figure out what they were going on about or just totally getting words wrong!

I think melt eyes is equally as good metaphor as melt heart x

A song I like called killing with kindness ,has the line
