Ok you lovely lot, I love Cardiff and I have been loads but never without kids and all I know are the doctor who locations, need some ideas and not ‘tripadvisors’ recommendations because they are pants, we want quirky lol.

I know the bay well, what are the best bars? I was told hooters was open there but when I checked it was closed. Very disappointed lol.

Thank you, I did that but like ‘real reviews’, sometimes google doesn’t tell you of this one quirky bar that no one else likes but this one person did and it was lovely!

You have your retros and that other place that does 80s cheesy stuff, it's got a sturdy well build pole.

The live lounge.

Midweek disco bingo.

As mentioned the Bay aswell.

I'll be honest I haven't been in the city at night for years due to the cost of a taxi home.

If you can get a hotel try and make it down on a Rugby night. It's a great atmosphere. Very few cities can offer that.

The best school night I've had in town is Premier League Darts. I'm not really into darts but you don't have to be to enjoy the night.

I’ve always loved it, I’ve been loads with the kids but only ever seen the ‘doctor who’ sights so will be nice to actually go and do something at night that isn’t standing around looking at a film crew lol. Was gutted that the dw experience closed last year though x
