Trouble is we can only find rifle ranges, does anyone know anywhere that lets you shoot pistols - like in one fo the ranges you see the cops in on the telly

East Grinstead

Handgun laws mean this is very difficult to do in the UK.

There is a range in Las Vegas where you can have a go for a price.

Contact a gun club they will tell you if it's still possible

But like has been said with the laws ya might struggle

However there is no feeling in the world to me than shooting clays with a 12 bore even though it was a few years ago now

Good luck xx

There are range days for rifle shooting, and to be honest hand guns are the worst thing to start on.

Slides can cut skin if not held just right, and never was comfortable with new people and a pistol...the pointing it the wrong way game.

Rifles are more satisfying nothing like long range shots (300-400m) and seeing a pop-up target fall.

You can only shoot a pistol if the barrel is over 12 inches long due to the law on pistols.

She can fire an old style ball and cap pistol if she/you can find a shooting range that will allow her to.

It all depends on what sort of pistol you want to fire. If you are looking for automatics then you are probably better looking at what is on offer in Scandinavia as its not too expensive to get there. You can still shoot 25m single shot pistols in the uk if you look though.
