Not had my best day ever so decided to have a bit of retail therapy this afternoon...and would you believe it, i couldnt even find a pr of shoe's i liked enough to buy!!!

This winters shoe buying season is going to be a bad one!!

(face of a person panicking) Tell me in minute detail what you were looking for and what is on offer. I cannot have another season of those heels and ankle straps that look naff on anything other than the perfect pins.

most expensive piece of footwear i own are my pink timberland boots..

heels are cheap and fashions change so much. The prices of some shoes are shocking :D

Now the thing that got me was the absence of any door in the pic and the absence of any tools. It looked to me you were running a cloth over a high ledge.

Come to think of it a man cleaning the bathroom was just plain stupid of me.

Thats it my eyesight is brill. Im just plain stupid

Yes but I trust you also have a transformer for mains electric. Big heavy yellow thing with your name in permanent marker and instructions to other colleagues to 'keep off'

Ah I try stuff on in the comfort of my own home plus its like getting gifts delivered to my door. Just only recently found the joys of shopping online. Let me see Shopping online or in Peterborough no comparison

I bought some beautiful but very high shoes last week. They werent cheap and I was in two minds about buying them as I thought that I wouldnt be able to walk in them and because they werent cheap, was I totally wasting my money.

I decided to buy them, coming to the conclusion that (a) I couldnt live without them anyway and (b) I could always use them as an ornament and just look at them.

But I wore them and after a shaky start, found I could walk in them and they were comfortable and I kept them on all night. It just goes to show that sometimes if you pay a little more for a pair of shoes, its worth it rather than a cheap uncomfortable pair.

All i could find were flat black pump or shoes like tower blocks...which are great if one isn't planning on walking in them! lol

Am I the only woman on here that hates shoes. I cant walk in heels they pinch leave blisters can be very uncomfortable. Would rather be bare footed.
