"My thoughts exactly, I went to Africa to climb Kilimanjaro and visit the villages after, try their level of poverty, makes our moans and groans seem very trivial." Couldnt agree more, my biggest bugbear is people complaining about things they dont have in this country. Many countries dont have the basic essentials, like food and water

"Anyone here had to cut spending dramatically or just scrimp and save? I've made the choice to get rid of my car to become debt free.. i'm a little bit sad but i am sure its the right decision long term. Means i no longer have to watch every single penny " Good on ya, also reduces your carbon footprint and saves on gym fees as you walk everywhere. Been doing it for five years now. It also means I can afford more holidays.

No carbon footprint, no sky high petrol prices, no massive insurance or worries when it goes for the MOT. And no need for a pricey gym membership. Good luck with it!
