Binge watched the whole lot over the holidays

Thoroughly enjoyed it, what a lovely programme it was lol

.

Always been tempted to try it and it's awoken the interest again

So the question is, has anyone else given it a go ?

And considering that the decent machines aren't cheap,

is it something that you could get hooked on doing

I have 300 acres ready to go but no detector. Seriously considering buying one. Not because I realistically think I will hit big but it would nice to wander about.

Love the series.

I do it regularly,gets me out in the fresh air on a sat/sunday morning.Ive found stuff thats worth quite a few bob.

Apparently, Mackenzie crook did a lot of research at metal detecting clubs etc. Does any of it seem true to life ?

A lot of its true,but they over-exaggerated some of it for light hearted humour.
