Today is the one year anniversary of me deciding to diet. At times it wasn't easy but it's being worth it, lost over 4.5 stone.

Gone from 3XL to medium in jumpers and coats while 38" to 32" in trousers and even down to small in undies, see uploaded pics!

Said most of above before but wanted to say, if you've started a diet fellow Fabbers, stick with it because it's worth the effort and you'll feel a whole lot better, I even feel more mentally positive as well!

Good Health.

Well done doc, I know bits not easy. I’ve had a very stressful 6 months and haven’t made good food choices but I’m back seeing my surgical team in a couple of weeks so hopefully they’ll get me back on track. X

"Boom! Good work!

What my doctor told me! He told me to not consider myself on a diet but eating healthy instead. The reasoning behind it is somewhat psychological, a diet feels like denial but healthy eating is positive and people don't "harass" you with boring questions about dieting.

This really did helped me.

This - When I lost weight, and now I'm bulking, my answer is the same: I'm not ON a diet, I HAVE a diet.

That’s it exactly. Diets don’t work long term. Lifestyle changes do.

Even small changes like cutting out sugar make a massive difference. You feel better when you fuel yourself right too!

My doc didn't tell me this but it's exactly what I keep telling folks.. Cos I am NOT in a diet... Because sometimes I eat crap... But get straight back on the wagon the next day
