Official divorce day

Apparently this Monday 8th July is official divorce day (radio talk show programme )

I guess the reason is fall outs over Christmas with in laws out laws family this that and the other..

Are you filing for divorce Monday ???

My husband made me start divorce proceedings just after my birthday in October. My decree absolute was on 1st March the next year.

I sent my divorce forms in a week before Christmas. Although we have been split up for over 5 years so it’s a long time coming.

I think the stress of Christmas does have a major effect on families so I’m not surprised if more divorce petitions and children applications are filed in January as well as non-mol apps.

actually i didnt realise it was 'divorce monday' till i saw it on tv yesterday, but i have an appt to sort out mine on monday that i made weeks ago...but having not seen the husband in 10 years it probably doesnt count..
