Having a chat with a swinging friend off site and the topic of preferences came up. Some have very set ideas on they types of people they like to meet, some state that all shapes and sizes are welcome. Which category do you fall into? Can someone be attracted to people at 8st and 28st? Is it all about personality for you?

No judgements just genuine interest in others views x

For me it is about an intelligent,genuine and sexy personality more than anything else and that can be located within a slim or large guy.

Combine that with wit and a sense of humour and good personal hygiene standard - I am happy! It really is that simple.

My tastes are very broad...yes I have my usual type....but people's personalities can be just as sexy as their appearance, often far more so!

I've certainly found women of all sizes and shapes attractive!

It's not all about personality for me - I still have to find them physically attractive.

But that being within a small margin of a certain weight or size isn't the case. I like lots of shapes and sizes.

I think on here it's seen as being a good view for a man to have.

I only find slimmer men attractive, although my ex was slim when we got together and started to put weight on, didn't change how I felt about him though

I would say physically attractive to me is a range. Not attracted to extremes on either side of the spectrum. But as cheesy as it sounds, personality is key. I have known people I fancied who turned out to be unpleasant people and I was no longer attracted to them physically either.

Personally if I'm asked to describe my "ideal" man or woman on paper I'll have a type (tall, dad bod/stocky built for men, soft and curvy for women) however that is not a hard limit for who I find myself attracted to.

My friend likes larger women (his current partner is a size 26) and has never found slim women attractive. His belief is that men who say all sizes and shapes welcome are just desperate for sex.

You can imagine the heated debate that's gone on over a viscount and a cup of Tetleys finest this afternoon!!

Hmm, attracted to all shapes and sizes? Doesn't that translate as "will fuck anything that moves"?

I do have a type, average build, fairly tall, might go outside it if a personality was irresistible,but I have yet to be attracted to a man who is at either extreme of the BMI scale,nor do I find extreme muscles remotely attractive.

We both like curvy woman with a pretty face. I say curvy between a size 14 and 24 is my own preference but it’s not a hard limit if someone was bigger or smaller and we were attracted to them then we would meet/play, boobs and face are our biggest priority.

If I don’t fancy someone facially then It won’t go further

I have a wide taste. The only thing consistent for me is height. I'm tall and broad and I rarely meet men below 5'10 ish. 6ft plus ideally.

My sexual partners have been both male & female

They have been short, tall, fat, slim, hairy, not hairy, short haired, long haired, white, black and every shade in between, younger, older, English, foreign, dark eyed, light eyed, glamourous, plane, muscled, not muscled

It's been a right mixed back

My ex Mrs was taller than me and at her biggest was a size 30. She was also 10 years older

The girl I was with before her was about 5ft nothing and a size 6. She was about 6 or 7 years younger.

I am lucky in that I don't have one particular type

The downside is, of course, that there's way more people to knock me back

Our tastes are very wide and encapsulate most body shapes.

A pretty face and Personality are most important.

I also Feel it would be remiss of me not to take this opportunity to say how very attractive I find your profile and pictures op.

I’ve never had a preference for hair/body/looks, I find lots of different people attractive for all sorts of reasons, to say it’s because I “will fuck anything” is soooooo wide of the mark to make it laughable, plus it’s kind of insulting to think that people should only be attracted to one type of person.

I'm only attracted to men and no my taste doesn't change depending on personality.

I'm only petite, so therefore the build of the men I am attracted to is toned/average - I am never attracted to large built men I'm afraid

I'd like to think I'm pretty broad in my taste.

I'm a big believer in the way people carry and present themselves as being innately sexy. More so than an arbitrary set of physical standards.

I've been with models who left me feeling unsatisfied and bored and I've been with less conventional beauties who have shown me the secrets of the universe.

I always always used to go for the classic rugby ‘built like a brick shithouse’ type. Then my head was turned completely by someone who didn’t fit that mould and now I know better than to stick to what I thought I knew best.

Turns out that sometimes you find the strongest connection with the least likely candidates.

As a big bird myself, it doesn’t bother me to read ‘only fit types’ etc on profiles. Everyone is here to find people that they are attracted to enough to do the no pants dance with. I respect that totally. Besides the ones who do appreciate my figure will ensure I have a better time than someone who was desperate enough to shag me simply because I’m there. I got more respect for myself than that.

Personally I'd say I like a wide range of women and I prefer curvy over skinny but there is also a point where it becomes less attractive. Although chemistry and personality are just as important. I love every race of women as well

We do have a preference of meeting a curvy lady such as ourselves. We find lots of women, all shapes and sizes to be attractive but with a skinny girl we are worried about ‘breaking her’ I know that sounds weird. But if a lady came along that was skinny and had a brilliant sense of humour and gelled with us then brilliant. It’s all about the personality and being able to feel at ease over the size.
