Reading through the threads and I notice lots of different styles of flirting. Sometimes I think I wish. I could be as forthright with what I want to say. So I think im a subtle flirt, ( and yes I know when I’ve had a drink not so subtle). I’m just very aware that I’m not for everyone and literally unless someone is forthright with me I don’t recognise I’m being flirted with. So what type of flirt are you, and are you comfortable with saying what you want in a forward manner. X

On a one on one basis when I have established the other person is on my level. I would describe my flirting as pure filth. Arguably that isn't flirting though lol. On the forums I prefer suggestive but sometimes I get excited and go a bit more forward. Face to face I would say similar.

Im probably the most incompetent flirt on the planet. I clearly need lessons especially watching those so skilled in such ways and how they operate, for want of a better description, on the forums

I do find it much easier one on one and can vary from flirty to downright filthy. It helps if it's someone I know or may have met. But maybe that's more to do with a connection that goes beyond just text.

But I'm a guy who lives in a cave and therefore a bit slow.

Much of the time I fail dismally to recognise if someone is flirting with me. Like most cave men I probably just need clubbed over the head before I get it.

And if your going to club me that hard you may as well just grab me by the hair carry me off to your lair and just show me.

See reading these answers it seems that most of us are subtle flirts who are better in one to one situations. Yet the forums are full of flirting. Do we recognise when we flirt or is it a case of we’re more comfortable in the surroundings so can be flirty in the knowledge that we won’t be judged for it x

I'm not a flirt, end of. I can't usually even banter. That's due to a paralyzing fear of being laughed at and/or humiliated if I tried ... combined with an almost complete inability to recognise when others are flirting with me

I have to know someone *very* well indeed before I let my guard down.

On here, I just have to hope that my occasional long boring replies to some of the more 'serious' threads are some kind of turn on to someone occasionally ...
