So yesterday I made him cum and then we had unprotected sex but he didn’t cum inside me! I don’t ovulate for around 8ish days and on day 6 of my cycle so anyone know about the chances of pregnancy ? I’m contemplating taking the morning after pill as I really don’t want a baby!! (Yes I know this was a bit silly)

I fell pregnant with youngest whilst on the contraceptive injection, we had unprotected sex and he never came inside me but she still happened. His pre cum swimmers were enough so I guess there's always a chance

Mine was my long term partner as well. 8yrs together with 2 kids. Still didn't stop him walking out in the end and I wouldn't change having the kids now but totally understand where your coming from. Last thing I wanted at the time was another kid

What’s with the sarcasm?? I’m asking a question as I know the chances of pregnancy are “usually” 5 days before ovulation and I’m not ovulating! Was mostly hoping someone with knowledge could advise, not after Critisism!! It was unprotected because the condom split, not that that changes anything either!!!

If you really don't want a child then you should do the morning after pill... But I also think you should consider the repercussions... Good Luck however you decide to go forward.

Take a pregnancy test 6 days before your next period is the earliest you can check from.

You mentioned unprotected sex. I rolled my eyes n thought fuck sake stupid bitch. Canny help myself sorry. Its an ifliction ah tell ye x

I completely understand but didn’t give all the details! I’m stupid because I’m due to have the coil fitted in 3 weeks and just feel stupid for this to happen at my age but believe me it wasn’t intentional, we stopped when we realised hence how he didn’t cum inside me but obviously know there’s a small risk especially as he’d already cum prior to this!! Sorry for any confusion, just didn’t think to give all the details!!"

Go to your doctors and tell them whats happened and theres a good chance they will fit it there n then. Think getting the coil fitted covers you for up to a week or so of unprotected sex. Good luck x

Thanks, there’s a long waiting list for it to be fitted but I’m having a gyno operation in 3 weeks so was having the coil fitted during that, I will try and get a doc appt tomorrow, just don’t want to waste a doctors time if the chances of pregnancy are very very slim but altho it wouldn’t be the end of the world having a baby, we haven’t planned for it yet!

Some people don't realise how blessed they are to have, or to be able to have children

Have a phone consultation with your gp and request the morning after pill.

If you are having a the coil fitted during an op then you clearly hadn't planned on having kids.

Sperm can live inside you for Period of 5-7 days so there’s always a chance that you could conceive a week after you actually fucked him. With my fraternal twins my dating scan revealed I conceived twin one on the Friday the day after me and my ex slept together and twin two 5 days later

You don’t want a baby then it should be quite clear what you should do without even asking the question, just go and get the morning after pill! Better to be safe than sorry

if you don't want to be pregnant and had unprotected sex go take the morning after pill. If you really don't eant to be pregnant, don't play the odds gambling on chances and ovulation. You have 48 hours to take the pill, the earlier you do it, the better the chance of it working or 5 days if you go to your GP for an IUD.

If you really don't want to be pregnant, don't have unprotected sex

Get the pill just incase but they don't fit the coil if there's a chance you can be pregnant. They usually like to do it after you've had you're period so check with the docs .

If you're worried about getting the morning after pill then don't. You're given a brief chat from the Pharmacist, they check your medical details to ensure no medical issues preventing you from taking it, make you take it in front of them with a drop of water and off you go.

They do it confidentially, and will (should) take you somewhere private to chat about it.

Accidents happen. They realise this.

Isn’t there a short time frame for the morning after pill so you’re best to sort it out today

If you don’t want to go to the GP you can obtain the MA pill at the GUM clinic.

Re the coil they do ask if there’s a chance you could be pregnant before fitting as it will most likely trigger a miscarriage.

OP I like you, I feel like you have made an error by asking this question. You know folk will eye roll hell I did too.

If you don't want to get pregnant you need to be taking precaution, your coil is in 3 weeks so use an alternative....You are old enough to know this.

Go to the chemist and get the map. Be mindful in future though hey. You know folk are unable to have children and dream of saying those words you have.

Do what works for you. We shouldn't judge but we do, quite frankly because you should know better.

She's gone anyway but I'll defend her just to play devil's advocate lol

She did say it was unprotected due to the condom splitting so they were using alternative protection but noticing in 100% safe.

Having said that I'm sure I was told not to have sex between appointments to get my implant fitted although not sure I stuck to that lol

What has other people not being able to have kids got to do with the OP? Why should she be made to feel responsible or guilty for someone else being unable to conceive? Because that's the only reason to mention it, to guilt her.

Whilst I agree if you have a serious medical issue don’t ask randoms off the internet ~ you don’t have to be medically trained to answer a general question about the MA pill.

We had best not mention any form of contraception as this prevents us from getting pregnant too. Some people will take offence at almost anything.

I had trouble conceiving both my children. It took seven years to conceive my second and we didn't use contraception at all. I had no issue when a close friend and my sister in law both had terminations. I was there for both despite my own issues.

Yes they do

People on social media aren't your friends.

Having 500 friends on Facebook means nothing.

Sometimes it is nasty on here , we all need advice / confirmation of something sometimes and if people want to ask what sauce they have on their bacon butty then they can ask this

Next time please remember we are not all the same and if you want to be nasty / bitchy then stay off the thread
