True it just seems very raw what with every thing going on at the moment tidal waves etc are natural disasters not that lives have been lost but terrorism is in a whole new league.

things that may appear negative often also have positive results. It may raise awareness, open eyes. We have censors, they just need to do their job.

Have to say amazing film. Michelle Williams stunning and Ewan McGregor fantastic.

understand what ya mean shaz...but I always have seen this a different way, reverse the roles of the acts of man and acts of 'god' to each country(talking about the indonesian tsunami and americas twin towers)...most would always lay sympathy more on the american side...despite the vastness of the tsunamis death toll

You're always gonna upset someone. The best stories are the ones that get a reaction. The ones that make us feel.

If something is a matter of historical fact then as long it is portrayed as close to the truth as possible I don't think any subject should be taboo to a film-maker. In cases that would clearly provoke anger among the viewing public the producer could tone the graphical content and still get the story across but I still think the story should be told.
