Love hot cross buns - they sell them all year round now though, they’re not just for Easter

But the sooner we move into spring, the happier I’ll be. I can’t bear this cold & dark weather!

Way too early. There is the story that Good Queen Bess decreed that you could only have them for Good Friday, Christmas and burials.

Traditionally, you only have them during Lent. Lent doesn't start until the second week of February this year.
