We use my ordinary mobile phone! Can't be arsed with trying to be organised enough to have a "special" phone. Oh and it's never been a problem because we don't give it to just anyone!

I'm sure many will tell you this but get a cheap pay as you go phone and give that number out.

If it rings you know what its about and you keep your normal number free.

Twenty quid and ten Credit? Not alot.

A bonk phone is sensible but I still wouldn't give my number out willy nilly. You can still be bothered by lunatics on that. You never know what a person is going to do after being given your number.

I had one muppet (nothing to do with this site) texting me morning noon and night which was a pain.

a cheep second pay as you go phone is a good idea, then you can bin the sim if you have problems.

I only got 1 phone but am happy to give number after a few chats on here or msn

Fortress of Solitude, Middlesex

I use an old handset when I upgraded... got a sim card free (one of those online ones, they send you 2 these days) and ogt one of them T-mobile "sim only" deals (£15 rolling month contract).

I so not only do I have some minutes and texts free, I'm not tied to any contract and pay next tp nothign fo rit - if I get too much hassle I change the sim/number and carry on.. give the number to those that I think should have it.

My main number is locked away safely for work.
